Joy is recording her new Beauty Marks album at Secret Hill Studios in Long Beach, CA with Brian Frederick. The album is 13 songs of Joy’s most harp and cello-heavy songs to date. Meanwhile, visual artists Suzanne Walsh of Ashes in Orange Peels, Erich Von Metzger, and Joy are working on the album artwork… Exciting things are on their way!
Joy and Brian just did an awesome session with the Dovelles singing backup on one of Joy’s new songs. (Additionally, Joy just played cello for the Dovelles for their recent show at the Long Beach Buskerfest.)
